Product Description

Marshal of Burgundy and Governor of Burgundy, Vergy was a distinguished warrior who fought with and against the English during the Hundred Years War on behalf of the Kingdom of Burgundy. Elected to the elite “Knights of the Golden Fleece” in 1432, Vergy had served two Dukes of Burgundy with valor. He had been a member of the murdered John the Fearless’ inner circle, and after his demise served Philip the Good until his death in 1460.
