The St. Petersburg Collection® Award for Excellence
AeroArt International, having virtually underwritten the progression of excellence through its demand for exceptional quality concurrent with providing a marketplace, developed a group of world class soldier makers in St. Petersburg. Along with the artists’ reputation for beautiful sculpting and painting, the product became synonymous with quality in the competitive arena.
To share in celebrating the high level of competitive standards achieved by not only the artists of The St. Petersburg Collection® but by artists in the soldier field worldwide, The St. Petersburg Collection Medal for Excellence was created. This beautiful silver award medal recognizes persons whose expertise has significantly contributed to the military miniature hobby.
AeroArt intends this medal to have intrinsic value as well as splendor. The original design on the obverse of the solid sterling silver disk depicts warriors from Ancient Greece, the Age of Chivalry, and the American Civil War. The reverse design presents the AeroArt International stylized double-eagle logo. The solid sterling silver medal is presented in its made-to-order polished redwood box with gold imprint of the AeroArt International double-eagle.
